Tara Jackson (Kāti Māmoe) is the Founder and Director of A Guide to vegan. She has been vegan since 2013 which makes writing vegan-related content a natural (and fun!) venture for her.
She is also the Executive Director of NZAVS, a charity that has been working to end animal testing in NZ since 1978.
Animals are at the core of both her professional and personal life and are the driver behind why she created A Guide to Vegan.
Tara lives in Ōtautahi (Christchurch) in a vegan home with her partner, Ryan and rescue dog, Oxana.
